Yunona (Una) Taranova is multitalented musician - performer, composer, and teacher.

She graduated as a pianist from the Institute of Arts (now University of Arts) in Kharkov, Ukraine (former USSR), where she also studied composition. Her bright compositions, reminiscing classical piano improvisations and arrangements were presented at the various TV and radio stations.

In her art songs Yunona (Una) Taranova uses poetry of renowned authors such as F. G. Lorka, I. Annensky etc., as well as her own lyrics. Piano series Earth Mates were published in 2003. Member of SOCAN.
